Drastic surgery and treatment was not enough to keep Rick Hill down, his determination led him to the Oasis of Hope where he achieved health and success under the treatment of Dr Contreras.

The press hounded him with  stories of ‘Cure or Quackery’ even though he had  documented medical evidence  from the Mayo clinic stating the details of his cancer, but that was not enough to keep Rick from traveling across the USA sharing his story.

Rick puts his healing down to 3 aspects of healing ‘Detox, Affirmation and Supplementation’ the secret was to continue with all that he learnt after leaving the clinic.

Rick learnt to form new habits, overcome his mind and change his life to maintain good health.

“My interest in Biological Dentistry started in 1996 when I started working at a mercury-free dental clinic, while still at school”, recalls Dr. De La O.

“There, I learned of the potential harm common dental materials, treatments and pre-existing oral conditions can cause the body, specifically mercury amalgams, root canals and hidden infections. I also became aware of the many biocompatible materials dentistry has to offer not taught in schools.”

Dr. De la O graduated as a Dentist from the “Universidad Autonoma de Baja California”, one of the best universities in Northern Mexico. He is a specialist in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics. He has been a member of IAOMT since 2005 and was certified by the Institute of Functional Medicine in 2007. He also has been certified in Oxygen and Ozone therapy in Dentistry and has been trained in Neural Therapy. He is also trained in Oral BioCibernetics and currently is studying Orthodontics once again.

“I like the fact that I can combine state of the art equipment and software with a biological approach in my work. It gives me the opportunity to do alternative dentistry in conjunction with other health professionals and work together to deliver individualized treatment plans and options.”

Dr. De la O is an avid learner and likes to be in continuous education. He has trained in the assessment of root canals and energy blockages in the body, diagnosis and screening of NICO (Neuralgia Inducing Cavitation Osteonecrosis) or Cavitation lesions, and he has extensive knowledge of how toxic materials can affect health.

He has been head of the sanoviv Dental Department since 2002.
