An hour a day, or a total of seven hours a week, is associated with decreased risk for breast cancer and Type II diabetes. As little as a half hour a day, or three hours a week, is associated with decreased risk of heart disease.

How Many Years?
The studies have not keyed in on when in your life it is best to exercise – is it too late if you wait until you are 55? Or can you begin reducing your risks at any age? Studies have shown decreased risk of death in older men and women who walk regularly, so my reply would be to start now and never stop! Walking will also provide weight-bearing exercise to maintain your bone density and prevent osteoporosis.

The healing rays of sunlight are only absorbed directly through your skin and through the retina in your eyes. The sunlight that enters into your retina is a very important nutrient.

The importance of exposing your whole body to direct sunlight without wearing sun glasses is highlighted by a very interesting experiment that Dr John Nash Ott accidentally stumbled upon. John Nash was involved in studies of health and sun light. He was exposing himself, plants and animals regularly to sunlight and recording the healing effects. During this period Dr Ott accidentally dropped and broke his prescription glasses which thus forced him to expose his eyes to sunlight without glasses. And incredibly after doing this all his symptoms of arthritis disappeared soon after.

From this ott considered that the full spectrum sunlight’s effect happened not only from its impact on the skin but through the eyes. So just remember when exposing your body to sunlight, take off your glasses, sunglasses or contact lenses so your eye can receive the entire spectrum of the sunlight. Do not look directly at the sun with your eyes but be in the sunlight without wearing your sunglasses or glasses.

When is the best time of day to get a sun bath?

The best time of day to expose your whole body to sunlight is at sunrise or within two hours after sunrise. Or if this time isn’t possible the next best time is in the morning hours before eleven am. During these early morning hours there is more pure healing energy in the atmosphere which the suns rays pick up and lodge into your body. At sunrise the sun holds more energy, vitamins and minerals then at sunset. It is also scientifically proven that the atmosphere during this time is more free from ultraviolet rays and infrared rays which are harmful to your health.
In general avoid sunlight exposure after eleven am because more negative, harmful energies increase in the atmosphere at this time.

Sunbath as much of your body as possible.

In your own house if you have total privacy and hundred percent safety you should sun bath in the full nude so you can expose every part of your body to the healing rays of the sun. If this is not possible you should wear as little as possible like bathers when exposing your body so you can get the maximum amount of the suns rays on your body.

First expose the front of your body to the sun, then turn over and expose your back to the suns healing rays. It is very important to get gradual amounts of sunlight on your body and build up gradually over time.

How much sunlight should you get?

When sunbathing you should start by keeping your sun exposures to three minutes per side and then gradually increase your exposure by a minute each day until you reach one hour of exposure every day.

By mild exposure in gradually increasing increments you will condition your skin and body to the suns healing rays. Your body will naturally and effortlessly be able to handle large amounts of sun light without any detrimental effects or sunburn.
But any color change in the skin beyond the slightly pink stage is a sign that you have overdone it. The therapeutic effects occur just below the level of turning red.

Remember that it takes time for your skin color to change. Be sure to get out of the sun before you turn pink or it may be too late. Make sure you never allow yourself to get burnt.

Pray to the sun.

On the material plane the sun is the link between humanity and God. The Sun contains many mystical secrets which the ancients knew. These secrets have been lost to the modern world. While bathing in the sun you should talk to the sun like you would talk to your dearest friend.

What dangers to avoid while exposing your body to sunlight.

Do not overheat yourself when exposing yourself to the suns rays. Overheating can lead to heat exhaustion or sunstroke. Do not look directly at the sun with open eyes as it can damage your eyes. Do not stay too long in the sun so you burn your skin, always get out of the sun before your skin turns red. Sunburn is harmful to your health. What you want to do is slowly build up your tan over time gradually and naturally.

This single remedy of sunlight is a potent addition to add to your healing weapons against rheumatoid arthritis but used alone it will not fully cure rheumatoid arthritis. It is just one of the weapons you need to use in order to conquer the disease.

Antibiotics a wonder drug or a curse of our time.

When antibiotics were first identified as being effective, they were widely used even when there was no obvious bacterial infection present. Penicillin and all antibiotics were called wonder drugs, and Doctors and patients alike considered them appropriate for just about everything.

Antibiotics treat bacterial infections when the immune system alone couldn’t mount an adequate response against immune disorders. Therefore a strong and healthy immune system should negate the need for any antibiotics in the majority of situations, therefore it is so critical to always consider strengthening the immune system by taking preventative measures, to help avoid unnecessary medication.

How does the Immune System Work?

The immune system is an immensely complicated and intricate system, and like all systems in the body, it needs to be in top condition to perform optimally. If it is compromised in any way, it will allow the germs to win the battle and disease will develop. We are surrounded by germs of all descriptions at all times without getting sick. When our immune system is compromised and cannot effectively fight off the infection, we become ill.

Antibiotics are specific chemicals aimed at killing off the targeted bacteria (they are not effective against viruses and should not be taken for a viral infection). In theory antibiotics are supposed to do this without damaging the cells of our body, but antibiotics do come with side effects and consequences. The paradox is that antibiotics were developed to help the immune system, but in reality they actually impair it. This paradoxical effect was first noted in 1950, but couldn’t be confirmed, and it was only in 1972 at the Baylor School of Medicine in Houston that it was documented that some antibiotics actually prevented white blood cells from attacking and killing bacteria. This included some of the well-known antibiotics used today such as tetracyclines, erythromycin, and chloramphenicol.

Another side effect is that antibiotics kill off the good and helpful bacterial flora in our digestive tract. These good bacteria produce specific proteins that stimulate our immune system. When these bacteria are killed off too, a temporary halt is put on our immune system and this increases susceptibility to additional infections.

Use of antibiotics sets up a vicious cycle:

The more you take antibiotics, the more you depress your immune system. The more depressed your immune system is, the more likely you are to get another infection. If you get another infection, you will get another antibiotic, and so the vicious cycle continues.

In addition, because of improper prescribing and usage by patients, the incidence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria is increasing. This can lead to serious illnesses as well, as people taking more than one antibiotic for one infection or taking a much stronger, and more dangerous, antibiotic.

Similarly, there are also many over-the-counter preparations available that do as much harm as good, and for which the long-term side effects are not always known. In medical trials, it is usually only the short-term efficacy and side effects that are tested and measured.

It is also important to remember that many of the symptoms that we seek to treat are actually the body’s way of dealing with the infection and are proof that the immune system is working and doing its job. For example, a runny nose with a cold is the body’s way of trying to rid itself of germs, and trying to stop this process also stops the body from expelling the pathogen.

The general overuse of antibiotics did lead us to resistant bacteria strains. Why?

Like all living things, bacteria adapt to the environment. Faced with an antibiotic, a few hearty bugs survive. Those superbugs then multiply, creating a new strain that the old antibiotic can’t touch.
The more antibiotics are used, the more the bacteria evolve. After five decades of using antibiotics there is now a worldwide overuse of this wonder drug.

Doctors prescribe and patients demand them even for colds – viral infections against which antibiotics are useless.

One-third of the 150 million outpatient prescriptions for antibiotics written each year in the United States are unnecessary, according to CDC (U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) estimates. One of the results has been a chemical counterattack by bacteria — the growth of strains that have become tougher than the drugs being used against them.
