About Robert Kirby

Robert’s unique qualifications are a diverse combination of professional experience , formal education & training intensives . He has been facilitating professional training programs for more than twenty years to more than 12000 people in integrated body-psychotherapy and energy healing. With his unique background in both business and psychology he established one of the world’s largest and most successful institutes for body centered psychotherapy. His corporate experience includes leadership positions in two fortune 500 U.S. corporations, numerous promotions and an award from the president of Hughes Aircraft Company.

Robert’s formal education includes two master of arts degrees (MA) in: clinical psychology & psychosomatics medicine and one masters degree in business administration ( MBA). He also holds a bachelor of science degree in business marketing /organizational psychology. In addition, his education includes a diploma in core energetics (body-psychotherapy ) and a post- graduate diploma also from core energetics west in California. He also completed 3 one year diplomas in; the school of energy healing, the Pathwork school of spiritual psychology and obtained his California real estate license.

Robert commenced his self-development over thirty years ago with multiple trainings & courses in public speaking, acting, improvisational theatre, human relations , self-esteem / self image building as well as sales skills & negotiations. Since then he has attended over 150 trainings & workshops in diverse subjects such as successful entrepreneurs , psychology of success, transpersonal hypnosis, vibrational healing, pranic healing, kinesiology, the new biology, brain research, advanced brain spotting( trauma release), quantum physics, accelerated learning, family constellations, systemic constellations , organizational constellations, voice dialogue therapy, property investments, mysticism, meditation, body-psychotherapy, therapist training in addiction recovery, trauma & abuse , healthy relationships, Learning how to learn, dynamics of money, and executive coaching level two.

Some of Robert Kirby’s teachers include John Pierrakos MD., Barbara De Angeles PhD, John Bradshaw, Valarie Hunt PhD, and Robert Sharp DC, but he was most transformed by Cathy Martino {Celebrity body worker}. Robert ‘s work has also been greatly influenced by Bert Hellinger, Alexander Lowen, Wilhelm Riech, Carl Jung and Meister Eckhart.

There is a strong relevance to exercise in the healing process however there is also a misconception about the role of exercise and movement. When the body is unwell, drained and the immune system weak the wrong type of exercise can put further strain on your already depleted adrenals and immune system and cause damage. The right type of exercise can move energy blockages and build your ‘chi’ or life force energy which is essential in the healing process.

Robert has designed a series of movement workshops incorporating breath work, ti chi, yoga and psychosomatic therapies so you can;

The workshop series is presented in 4 parts. The first video is a full 40 minute program however if you have less time or would like to build up toward the longer program there is also a shorter 20 minute program. You can choose what feels right for you, build up and self regulate each processes to meet your present state of health and physical capabilities. Even if you are in a chair or bed you can adapt the exercises and gently do the bits that feel right.

The last 2 sections are specifically to move emotional and mental patterns and blocks. Different processes resonate with different people, so you are sure to find one process within the last 2 videos that support you.

Core Energetics is an evolutionary process of transformation created by the late John Pierrakos MD. It is based on the groundbreaking discoveries of The Life Energy by Dr. Pierrakos’s mentor & colleague Wilhelm Reich MD.

Energy medicine is one of five domains of “complementary and alternative medicine” (CAM) identified by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) in the United States.

The approaches known collectively as “energy therapies” vary widely in philosophy, approach, and origin. The ways in which this energy is used, modified, or manipulated to effect healing also vary. For example, acupressure involves manual stimulation of pressure-points, while some forms of yoga rely on breathing exercises.

I found out later that the best way I could channel these strengths was as a psychologist. Cancer is an opportunity to bring your focus and attention to reconnecting with your body and your life; an opportunity to heal and have a deeper relationship with yourself on a very intimate level.

A relationship that is built on reconnecting you spirit, heart, mind and body; creating peace and harmony within which is incredibly powerful on your healing journey.

There is often a sense of separation from the mind and the body, even a sense of separation from the self, this disconnect creates dis-ease in the body and therefore a clue to the shadow self, the parts of our life where we may have been hurt or abandoned.

Whilst the common focus in cancer treatment is often to fight the cancer, to go into battle, true healing occurs when we see cancer as an opportunity to love and heal the very aspects of ourselves that created the ‘dis-ease’ in the first place.

Which begs the question ’If a pill or remedy was found that healed the body immediately, would it rob you of the learning and growing that comes from the healing journey?’
